edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. An edit you recently made to Barrow, Alaska seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. Request reason:

While I already typed all this out to the administrators, they have redirected me here. You call this disruptive editing, but you, Oshwah, are blocking the use of indigenous language and place names by refusing to allow corrections to the Utgiagvik page. The title of the page is no longer Barrow. Please stop enforcing a limited, colonial narrative.

Accept reason:

I've unblocked as this appears to be a misunderstanding about the page name, and not intentional disruptive editing. IP: I would suggest you start an WP:RM to deal with the naming issue and get more input on the talk page, however. If you need help doing this, please feel free to reach out to me. The RM was already tried back in November and failed, though with an observation that the consensus could change soon as more people learn the new name. Soap 03:11, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
