August 2016 edit

Do not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia, like you did at Emerald. Such attempts to avoid detection or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Meters (talk) 18:45, 17 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

August 2019 edit

Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Brayden Irwin, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —MelbourneStartalk 13:54, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Brayden Irwin, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ubiquity (talk) 13:57, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

bad sourcing practice edit

A google link to a whole book is almost useless. The link will rot in time and nothing will be left. You aren't even bothering to provide page numbers. This is not acceptable. Zerotalk 08:24, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Besides that, I strongly suspect you are copying from another place. Is it true? Zerotalk 08:27, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please read Wikipedia:Citing sources for more information. There are various ways to cite sources, but bare minimum you need a url AND title, and the page number should go inside the <ref> template, not outside of it in brackets. Iskandar323 (talk) 07:12, 13 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've fixed your latest additions, but you should go back and add the page numbers to the references for the other material that you have added. As Zero noted, please also make sure that you are not just copy-pasting from elsewhere. Iskandar323 (talk) 07:35, 13 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

February 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Forced conversion—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 05:39, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

@206.47.6.162: It has become very noticeable that your edits are highly focused on historic instances of the persecution and forced conversion of Christians. Some of this content may potentially plug gaps in existing content, but it I would note that you are often adding large paragraphs linked to a single source, raising the possibility that the material is not necessarily WP:DUE. I would suggest that you read WP:RGW, for reasons that should be apparent, as well as WP:HERE, and have a think on your approach to this project.
