Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:202.27.212.13 reported by User:Robynthehode (Result: ). Thank you. Robynthehode (talk) 09:43, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Michael Behe; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Freeknowledgecreator (talk) 10:02, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

February 2020 edit

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring, as done at Michael Behe. In addition, your ability to edit your talk page has also been revoked.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then submit a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.  Fuzheado | Talk 11:32, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

December 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to The Babylon Bee, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. December 2021 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Hanukkah, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. The manual of style just wants consistency, there's other BCE still in there. Important Notice edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

November 2023 edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Scream VI. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Wikipedialuva (talk) 00:26, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I saw your edit summary and wanted to clarify that it was not the term "blacklisted" that was commentary that was inappropriate for the article body, but instead the comment "That is not true she left because she follows the truth like her fellow cast mates" that was added. If you have concerns about the accuracy of an article and want to discuss it, the best place to do so is generally on the article's talkpage. Thanks! Wikipedialuva (talk) 00:50, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I apologize; I made a mistake. Your edit was actually removing commentary added by a different user. Wikipedialuva (talk) 00:52, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
