Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Internet censorship in Iran has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://1378.blogfa.com, http://daneshejopolitecnic.blogspot.com, http://englab2.blogfa.com, http://iraneazad7.blogfa.com, http://iransem.blogfa.com, http://iranvaja.blogfa.com, http://iranzamin1000.blogspot.com, http://isf4equality.blogfa.com, http://kheradgeraee.blogspot.com, http://mahastim-news.blogfa.com, http://rahai222.blogfa.com, http://sarayeeshgh88.blogfa.com, http://schonee.blogfa.com, http://shariatiha.blogfa.com, http://tahrim-tahrim.blogspot.com, http://thalasemi.blogfa.com, http://vatansaz.blogfa.com, http://web.archive.org/web/20070622154615/rooznegaar.blogfa.com, http://www.azadeazad.blogfa.com, http://www.calibor2000.blogfa.com, http://www.ch1fan1.blogspot.com, http://www.farzandekorosh.blogfa.com, http://www.greenpath.blogfa.com, http://www.iraneazzad.blogfa.com, http://www.iranhast.blogfa.com, http://www.iransat1.blogspot.com, http://www.iransem.blogfa.com, http://www.mahastim35.blogfa.com, http://www.mahastimirani.blogfa.com, http://www.razeghieee.blogfa.com, http://www.shapoor.blogfa.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:50, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

  1.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Iranian presidential election, 2009 do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

  2.   Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Internet censorship in Iran. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --Aeon17x (talk) 14:14, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended or used for promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Because Wikipedia does not allow any form of spam or other promotion of people, products, companies or other groups (even non-commercial or charitable ones). Wikipedia's use for such purposes will result in the blocking of the account involved. Please read Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest for our rules about this.

In addition, user accounts are for individuals only, not for companies or groups or other collective editing. Your username should reflect this. Usernames that appear to be promotional (such as those that make reference to a company or product) violate our username policy and are grounds for blocking.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than yourself, your group, company or product, you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this message box.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Tell us what new username you want to use. Please make sure that your new username does not violate our username policy and check that it has not already been taken here.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If instead you believe that you have been blocked by mistake (i.e., you have not in fact been using Wikipedia for promotional purposes), please write {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this message box and replace the text "Your reason here" with the reason why. See also Wikipedia:Appealing a block for more information. Cirt (talk) 22:40, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
