Donnie Darko

edit

Holy cow, that welcome template is huge. Anyway, just wated to drop by to let you know that I reverted the changes made by that vandal which were partially reverted by yourself. Usually the best way to deal with vandalism is to completely revert it rather than to try to pick out the offensive material bit by bit; it saves time, too! ^_^ V-Man - T/C 18:02, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Moviestorm

edit

A tag has been placed on Moviestorm, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Into The Fray T/C 23:22, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you want the article to stay, you have to show why the program is important (and more than just it being supposedly "unique"), and you must show that it has received significant coverage from reliable, third-party sources. The claim of uniqueness must be also be backed up by third-party reliable coverage.--Drat (Talk) 02:30, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Signing comments

edit

Hi. Just a quick note to let you know that there's no need to sign (with ~~~~) the comments you make in edit summaries, like you did here, as the system automatically logs when and who made every edit. On the other hand, if you edit any talk pages (like this one, or my one), signing your comments is a good idea and approved of. You're not causing any problems by doing attempting to sign your edit summaries, but as you may have noticed, the system doesn't expand the four tildes notation in edit summaries, so it's not really doing much. Hope this helps; if you've got any further questions, please drop me a note on my talk page. Cheers --Pak21 13:16, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Compaq Presario 6410

I have nominated Compaq Presario 6410, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Compaq Presario 6410. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
