Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Liang Wenbo, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for instructions. Thank you. Armbrust Talk Contribs 20:43, 7 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello IP. In future, make sure any material you include is sourced to a reliable source. It doesn't matter whether you think it's true or not (see WP:V), just that it's been said elsewhere. If you don't do this, any editor has the right to remove unsourced insertions, like what's happened now. Christopher Connor (talk) 21:20, 7 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've commented on the talk page. Your latest edit (with the source to the World Snooker website) is sound but that sometimes doesn't matter here. I recommend getting an account so that your opinion isn't being discarded like it is now (all IPs are treated poorly). If you need help, you can post here or on my talk page.   Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:18, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Haarlem, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The link was to one of Wikipedia's own pages. To be corrected properly, George Stephenson did not design the first steam locomotive in 1814, Richard Trevithick had already achvieved that 10 years earlier.

Footnote 2 on the Richard Trevithick page:

Sorry about that - I have reverted my revert back to your edit as your references appear to substantiate it. If you include a comment in the edit summary it is easier to see what you are doing is constructive. Thanks Vrenator (talk) 09:45, 18 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page How to Swim (band) has been reverted.
Your edit here to How to Swim (band) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/howtoswim) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.
