Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Lord Algernon Gordon-Lennox. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the claims (see here for how to do inline referencing). If you need further help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse, or just ask me. Thank you. Dormskirk (talk) 11:16, 9 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

March 2022 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Frank Gorshin, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Schazjmd (talk) 16:59, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

December 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to John H. Plumb—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. I note that you are making trivial and unneeded changes to multiple BIOs. I suggest you be more economic with your edits. Xxanthippe (talk) 23:15, 22 December 2022 (UTC).Reply

Hello, and thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia! However, you should know that it is not a good idea to remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Michael Birt (barrister). Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. TheManInTheBlackHat (Talk) 01:54, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

It seems that some editors are not happy with your current edits. As you are making a lot of apparently contentious edits I suggest that you register a user name and give a run-down on your approach to editing on your talk page. Xxanthippe (talk) 02:40, 23 December 2022 (UTC).Reply

@Xxanthippe -- I don't have "a run-down" to give. My interests are eclectic and I have always been a kind of proof-reader, focused as much on minutiae as well as the larger picture. I am sorry "some editors" are unhappy with my contributions but I don't think I have done anything wrong. 107.122.161.55 (talk) 05:51, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! edit

Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Harry Chandler. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Jalen Folf (talk) 06:22, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

User:JalenFolf -- there is obviously something seriously wrong with whatever software you are using to impel you to decide that the addition of information regarding Harry Chandler's siblings and parents "appears to be vandalism". Did you even look at, much less read, the changes? You gonna run interference now for me with User:Xxanthippe? 107.122.161.55 (talk) 06:40, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I am disgusted and taking a break. 107.122.161.55 (talk) 06:40, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Murder of Ben Kinsella, you may be blocked from editing. Moops T 21:14, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please make an account if you'd like. It will help with your edits being retained. While it is perfectly fine to edit as an IP address, I think in your case editing as a user will be helpful. TY. Moops T 22:11, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

January 2023 edit

Hello! I'm Denisarona. Your recent edit(s) to the page Thomas Bermingham, 1st Earl of Louth appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Denisarona (talk) 10:35, 14 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
