Barack Obama speech to joint session of Congress, September 2009 edit

Hello, and thanks for your contributions to Barack Obama speech to joint session of Congress, September 2009. As a new user, you may not be familiar with our style and conventions. For example, you recently added a link to the speech in the first sentence which was not needed as the link to the speech appears directly to the right in a floating box. You also took an inline quote from Kennedy and attributed it to Obama, and then you turned it into a blockquote, which is not required for this length. Best practices for blockquotes are more than three lines, not one. In any case, please slow down a bit and do some research on the topic first. Obama did not say what you said he said, he was repeating the words of Kennedy. Viriditas (talk) 02:20, 12 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I see that you tried to say that, but there were some problems. I think I fixed it so that it's a bit more clear. Please continue editing. Viriditas (talk) 02:35, 12 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
