TacoBanden (pronounced "Banden" /təˈcobænd.en/; also stylized as TB or TACOBANDEN) is a professional esports organization headquartered in Gjesdal, Norway.[1] Founded 12 November 2012,[2] the team has players from around the world, across a variety of games, such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends and Overwatch.[3]
TacoBanden's League of Legends team won the first ever DottKOM LAN in 2012, and also holds the record for the most LAN events won in Gjesdal, totaling two of the two played from 2012-2013. In the 2015 EU LCS Summer Split they had a fun time playing FantasyLCS. Because of their accomplishments, TacoBanden's LoL team is usually considered the best team in Gjesdal history.
TacoBanden's Counter-Strike team, which has traditionally been located in Gjesdal, is also considered one of the best of all time, having won two CS:GO LAN's and winning many other MM-matches in both the CS:Source and CS:GO eras.
TacoBanden is known to be a scary team, and many fear even participating in the same tournaments as them - they are THAT good! "..one of the best teams in Norway" - An opponent getting ready to play TacoBanden in a BO1 at GamersWorld 2016.

The organization was founded on 12 November 2012 by Ruben Høgemark.[4] After playing several years for TacoBanden, Thomas "kiLi" Kili, a Counter-Strike player, became the Kilien of TacoBanden in 2014. Billy Bye replaced Emil Kristiansen as TacoBander in 2014,[5] whilst Gisse "Wørm" Ellingsen is the focking makk.
Between 2012 and 2015, TacoBanden was sponsored by Pitsabakeren and Kompalett, spurring a temporary name change to FatWorms.[6] On 6 April 2016, Fnatic partnered with RogaHack to host the most mongoloid LAN events in Rogaland history!!!

Counter-Strike edit
Fnatic entered the Counter-Strike competitive scene in 2013, when the team was founded by Thomas kiLi Kili. The initial roster, led by kiLi, managed to win Telenorligaen 2013 but struggled, and placed second. At the beginning of 2014, TacoBanden released the entire lineup except for in-game leader Thomas "kiLi" Kili, who was tasked to assemble a new roster. Kili recruited Mads "NumRim" Kleppe, the AWPer of Matchmaking; Kristian "LogiiC" Fjeld, from Team n00b; and Fjos duo Gøran "lamfolol" Pedersen and Henrik "hnp" Pedersen. This lineup would go on to win many major events in 2014, culminating with a 1st-place finish at Telenorligaen 2014. In 2015, TacoBanden's Counter-Strike team placed top three in many events with their newly acquired players, Joe "shortfegs" Pike and Wee "Zallan" Aboo. This simultaneously led to dropping many uncontracted players such as Kummeh, Zallan, BrummeN and Feelin (Counter-Strike). Before this happened the team consisting of kiLi, Zylar, Brummen, Feelin and LogiiC won 2 out of 4 games in Gamermag Open 2014, going out in
kiLi gained a reputation as one of Counter-Strike's premier in-game leaders and strategy callers from 2013-2015 due to his ability to lead several completely different TacoBanden rosters to major tournament wins. However, in March 2015, he announced his surprise retirement before the Telenorligaen Vår 2015, going on to become the first Social Media Manager (SMM) for TacoBanden. Nobody took on the role of in-game leading, so the team disbanded.
TacoBanden was without a proper CS:GO team until Thomas "kiLi" Kili gathered four highly skilled players; Billy "Byen" Bye, Torjus "Tæbi" Espedal, Fabian "frozier" Nordvall and Gøran "lamfolol" Pedersen to compete at the highest level Rogaland could provide. At RogaHack 2017 infront of 200 attendants. The team managed to play their way into the playoffs, but was eliminated by FatsFromOrstad. The team has since stayed quiet and it is unknown when or if it will reappear in the competitive scene of Gjesdal and Rogaland.

Season 2 edit
TacoBanden entered the League of Legends scene in November 2012 by creating the roster of The Year. Two months later, the squad consisting of Zylar, Gisse, NegraLokteRingt, Reiersen, and Toge. The team their first tournament debut at DottKOM LAN 2012. Beating the likes of SvetteMonkeys, FittaSmageTiss and Smilefjes.
Season 3 edit
TacoBanden's Toge was kicked from the team due to "setting fyr on the gaming hus 'cuz flaggrande flamme". TacoBanden then aquired Henrik "Hoooven" Hov, who at the time was considered the best top-laner from Gjesdal. The team went on to successfully defend their title at DottKOM LAN 2013, beating SvetteMonkeys in the final.
Season 4 edit
In season 4 and the preseason before it, the team participated in GamersWorld 2014 and won it without any trouble. Winning it secured them a place in the prestiguous tournament RogaHack 2014, the team "dreid on the drag" was sent home in groups.
Season 5 edit
In the season 5 TacoBanden defended their title as GamersWorld champions vs. Wiiig. They dominated the scene in Gjesdal and managed to send a message to the admins at RogaHack 2015, having them improve the event until next year.
Season 6 edit
In the 2016 season Zylar retired from League and started playing Overwatch. The rest of the team fell into a slump which lasted for over a year. Zylar rejoined the team and TacoBanden secured their third GamersWorld title after defeating noblirdurana in the playoffs final of GamersWorld 2016.
The RogaHack 2016 event saw TacoBanden placed in Group C with Skampult Vortesvin, BxD3 and Naireks. The team was only able to win 2 out of 6 matches, meaning that they would go no further in the tournament.
Season 7 edit
In season 7 TacoBanden terminated their ties with RogaHack. Rumors has it that RogaHack now in bankrupt and won't be able to host another tournament in the future. "Jævli gydd!", "Fåkk RogaHack!" is just a few of the 1000s comments from Banden's Facebook page. TacoBanden has the most loyal fans in all of Gjesdal.
Overwatch edit
With the release of Overwatch in May of 2016, TacoBanden was way a head of other teams. Already having 1 highly skilled player: Ruben "Zylar" Høgemark, they went on to conquer Quick-Play, Competitive and a tournament.
Streamers edit
In 2014, Fnatic picked up Tryks1, a Twitch streamer who leeched off of the biggest streamer in Norway, StianNorway in 2015 and 2016 in H1Z1, where Tryks1 has over 500 hours, but still suck dick. Tryks is a Sawed-Off Expert in CS:GO.
