About me edit

Hi! I'm a collegiate Wikipedian, just like Imax80. I live somewhere in the southeast. I'm especially a fan of Walt Disney Pictures, the Walt Disney Classics series, The Terminator, Nurse Angel Ririka SOS, Pokémon, Clint Eastwood, CLAMP, Weird Al Yankovic, Star Wars, Studio Ghibli, M*A*S*H, Star Trek, Lupin III, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Pretty Cure, anime, and the Spanish language. I also enjoy extremely rare and scarce logos (i.e. Thorn/EMI Home Video 1978, MGM/CBS Home Video 1980, Paramount Home Video 1976, WCI Home Video 1978, Columbia Pictures Home Entertainment 1979, Magnetic Video 1977, MCA Videocassette, Inc. 1980, etc.)

My Immense Collection of Disney Videos (1980-1997) edit

-Walt Disney Home Video-

  • Pete's Dragon (10/21/80, 4/2/85, and 5/23/91) (my copies printed 5/28/83 and 9/19/86) (my copy (1980) #04165)
    • The first cassette uses the blue "FBI" warning and a blue "Licensed", then the 1978 Neon Mickey. Film logo is 1966 Buena Vista logo. No MPAA rating. 1982 Disney promo at the end. Must've been added on the sale copies after 1982, so mine must be a remaster although it STILL IS the first Disney Video release EVER. For sale only. Not intended for rental. Label is half-way torn off. The second cassette features the red FBI warnings followed by the 1983 Neon Mickey. The third cassette features the red FBI warnings and Sorcerer Mickey's logo. Rated G.
  • The Black Hole (10/21/80) (my copy printed 9/10/83)
    • Uses the blue warnings, then the 1978 Neon Mickey. Film logo is customized Buena Vista logo (typed in red at the beginning of the film). No MPAA rating. No "For Sale Only" bumper. For sale only. Not intended for rental. 1982 Disney promo at the end... Whoa! Talk about a shocker! Parts had been edited out of the promo on this tape! Label is peeling. Rated PG.
  • The Love Bug (10/21/80, 10/27/85, and 10/27/85) (my copies printed 8/22/85 and 8/22/85) (my copies #09091 and #09092)

No "For Sale Only" bumper. For sale only. Not intended for rental. 1982 Disney promo at the end. Label is peeling. The second videocassette uses the 1984 FBI warnings and the 1983 Neon Mickey... yet uses the 1980 cover art! 1982 Disney promo at the end. The third videocassette is a carbon copy of the second. Rated G.
