The Grand Prix was by the Polish rider Tomasz Gollob (his 9th career Grand Prix win and the 6th time that Gollob had won the Polish Grand Prix).

Brian Anthony Craven (born 21 March 1932 – 24 April 1993) is a former was a motorcycle speedway rider from England. He earned one international caps for the X national speedway team.[5]
