Saiyed Salaar Dawood Ghazi bin Saiyed Ata-ullah Alavi or Saiyed Salaar Sahu Ghazi (Persian: غازى سيد سالار ساھو) was commander in the army of Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi who came to the South Asia in the early 11th century. Saiyed Salaar Dawood Ghazi was a descendant of Muhammad Hanafiyyah, son of Hazrat Ali the rightly guided Khalifa of Islam and the son in law of Paighamber Mohammad. He was brother in law of Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi and married to his sister Sitr-i-Mu'alla (the dignified veiled one). Saiyed Salaar Dawood Ghazi was father of renowned general Saiyed Salaar Masud Ghazi whose famed dargaah is situated at Bahraich. Saiyed Salaar Dawood Ghazi's daughter (from another wife) was Bibi Yadgaar Bano the mother of Saiyed Zaid of Zaidpur her grave is situated at town Zaidpur, Barabanki, India.

The mausoleum of Hazrat Saiyed Salar Dawood Ghazi is situated in Satrikh also known as Sulaimanabad, 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) away from Barabanki, in Uttar Pradesh India. At his grave the people of all faiths gather to pilgrimage during the full moon of the Hindu month of Jesht during the summer. There is a five day long urs during which thousands muslim and hindu devotees pay homage to the Mazaar. His tomb is also known as "Buddhe Baba ki Mazaar" (Grand Master's Mausoleum).
