August 2022 edit

  1. List of deputy chief ministers of Mizoram: nominated at AfD; notified Pixellab2022 (talk · contribs) 06:42, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
  2. Shrek 5 Confirmed: nominated at RfD; Target: Shrek (franchise) (notified); notified UserDude (talk · contribs) 21:57, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: I find it unlikely that someone would type "Shrek 5 Confirmed" to find the page for Shrek 5.
    • Result: delete.

September 2022 edit

  1. Forward exchange market: nominated at AfD; notified Slac (talk · contribs) 01:39, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
  2. User:Jerome501/Userboxes/User Racist: nominated at MfD; notified Jerome501 (talk · contribs) 04:24, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
  3. User:Jerome501/Funny: nominated at MfD; notified Jerome501 (talk · contribs) 06:34, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Same reason as all other Jerome501 creations that have been nominated: inflammatory content bordering on racist.
    • Result: delete.

October 2022 edit

  1. Wonderly: nominated at AfD; notified Roguebluejay (talk · contribs) 05:41, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Doesn't seem to pass NCORP, and it was seemingly written by a close connection to the subject. Sources are a bit iffy. I would've G11'd, but I'm not sure if it would qualify for that.
    • Result: delete.
  2. Pigeon Mountain Industries: nominated at AfD; notified Justanotherguyfromtennessee (talk · contribs) 06:05, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Seems to fail NCORP (notability tag on the article since 2011), written like an advertisement. The very few sources are either primary or behind a paywall.
    • Result: delete.

November 2022 edit

  1. Amingus: nominated at RfD; Target: Among Us (notified); notified KeeganWelch (talk · contribs) 01:16, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: I know that Amogus and Amongus are plausible redirects, but Amingus doesn't seem all that plausible. I could say the same for redirects Among is and Mong us.
    • Result: delete.
  2. Among is: nominated at RfD; Target: Among Us (notified); notified IlSoupylI (talk · contribs) 01:23, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Same reason as Amingus: not plausible as a typo.
    • Result: delete.
  3. Mong us: nominated at RfD; Target: Among Us (notified); notified SilentDistinction (talk · contribs) 01:23, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Same reason as Amingus: not plausible as a typo.
    • Result: delete.
  4. Legends Card Checklist(Magic: The Gathering): nominated at RfD; Target: Magic: The Gathering expansion sets, 1993–1995 (notified); notified Mark Staffieri (talk · contribs) 23:18, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Implausible redirect. I don't see anyone type "Legends Card Checklist(Magic: The Gathering)" into a search bar.
    • Result: delete.
  5. Dharmendar Kanwar: nominated at AfD; notified Jyotikathju (talk · contribs) 05:29, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Doesn't have any references, I tried to see if there was anything about her with a Google search but found very little. BLP tagged as needing citations since 2018.
    • Result: delete.
  6. Geneshift: nominated at AfD; notified Bencelot (talk · contribs) 05:27, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: May fail WP:GNG (tagged as such since 2017). The article is an orphan, and there seems to be a COI concerning the creator of the page. Sources may be sufficient judging by the handful of external links on the page.
    • Result: keep.
  7. Kaushiki (web series): nominated at AfD; notified CptViraj (talk · contribs) 07:13, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Tagged for WP:NWEB since 2019. Seems to be too many citations (WP:CITEKILL) - every statement seems to have a bunch of them.
    • Result: pending.
  8. Hasia la Zona: nominated at AfD; notified Zonaasia (talk · contribs) 07:19, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned article since 2013 that doesn't cite any sources. May be a hoax, considering the author's username being similar to the program + the only Google results coming back to the article.
    • Result: delete.

December 2022 edit

  1. Liliana Domínguez: nominated at AfD; notified 4.230.201.22 (talk · contribs) 00:51, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Basically unsourced article, tagged as such for a decade. Absolutely no Google news hits, a general Google search returns not much more (and nothing really reliable). Fails WP:NBLP and WP:SIGCOV.
    • Result: pending.
  2. Jacob Schlichter: nominated at AfD; notified MapleviewLounge (talk · contribs) 17:44, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: PROD declined, Ohnoitsjamie's reasoning is: "Doesn't quite meet WP:BIO; notability claims based on a photo appearing at the Austin airport and interviewing Tommy Chong."
  3. VEER (band): nominated at AfD; notified Brandeekline (talk · contribs) 03:15, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: PROD by Alalch E. (talk · contribs) declined. Their concern was "Non-notable band with some circulation on underground and internet radio and winner of the non-major "Maryland Music Awards"; coverage based mostly on interviews and some other sources for which it is hard to determine reliability, but it is not particularly in depth anyway. Doesn't meet WP:GNG or WP:NBAND."

January 2023 edit

  1. Bacak Obama: nominated at RfD; Target: Barack Obama (notified); notified Causa sui (talk · contribs) 02:21, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is very much an implausible redirect. I don't see anyone mistyping Obama's name this badly.
  2. Liliana Greenfield-Sanders: nominated at AfD; notified Tenbe (talk · contribs) 02:46, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Very weak sourcing (one of the links is dead, the other is from a source I haven't heard of before), tagged as needing more sources since 2015. The only reliable sources about her are passing mentions.
  3. Ontario, CA: nominated at RfD; Target: Ontario, California (notified); notified Sethbot (talk · contribs) 04:09, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Should retarget to Ontario, the primary subject when it comes to "Ontario, CA".
  4. Liliana Zagacka: nominated at AfD; notified Geschichte (talk · contribs) 23:33, 31 January 2023 (UTC)

March 2023 edit

  1. Nacelle (film producer): nominated at AfD; notified HW Boterman (talk · contribs) 01:26, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Doing this on behalf of 180.150.37.213 on WT:AFD: Company doesn't meet notability requirements.
  2. Talk:President Biden Expressway: nominated at RM; New name: Central Scranton Expressway 05:06, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: WP:COMMONNAME. Pretty sure no one in Scranton calls the road "President Biden Expressway".
  3. Orna Guralnik: nominated at AfD; notified GucciLucy (talk · contribs) 23:30, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
  4. Ridi Corporation: nominated at AfD; notified Wiki102030 (talk · contribs) 23:32, 17 March 2023 (UTC)

April 2023 edit

  1. Ramona, Los Angeles County, California: nominated at AfD; notified Sausage Link of High Rule (talk · contribs) 23:26, 6 April 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Declined PROD, the reason provided by 71.231.145.125 was: This is not a commonly known place. Just one person's fabrication. I double checked and it does seem like a fabrication, or at least a very local name in the same way my hometown has a neighborhood called L'Étang-des-Caps.
  2. Kozhaniy Olen': nominated at AfD; notified Stellsman (talk · contribs) 07:33, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Tagged for notability since 2012. I did a Google search for news, and what happened was a first one for me: there was nothing there. Nada. Niet. It obviously fails WP:GNG, and I'm surprised it lasted 11 years.
  3. Talk:Killing of Manuel Esteban Paez Terán: nominated at RM; New name: Murder of Manuel Esteban Paez Terán 21:53, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is obviously a murder, akin to the murder of George Floyd. Nobody in their right mind sees a bunch of police officers shooting 57 bullets in someone and calls it an accidental killing, as the current title implies.

May 2023 edit

  1. Olúfẹ́mi O. Táíwò: nominated at AfD; notified Buidhe (talk · contribs) 20:31, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Per an IP on WT:AFD: failing WP:BIO. More like looking to get hits to their website but has links. Doing this on their behalf.

June 2023 edit

  1. Talk:React (2023 song): nominated at RM; New name: React (Switch Disco and Ella Henderson song) 04:16, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This title would go with the MOS for different songs with the same name by different artists. The title was indeed moved to the suggested title here by Conor horan, but the move was reverted by Liz for being "a more complicated page title". Two other redirect possibilities could be React (Ella Henderson song) or React (Switch Disco song), which is technically not wrong and less complicated.
  2. Romani people: nominated at RM; New name: Roma people 02:02, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Note that this would also affect pages like Romani people in Romania. This is a request I'm filing on behalf of Ninhursag3, who has done anything but a formal request for this. Their explanation is here. I have no opinion on this as a result of this filing being on behalf of someone else.

July 2023 edit

  1. Yubaraj Khatri: nominated at AfD; notified YubarajKhatri1 (talk · contribs) 04:42, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Article was PRODded by Liz because it is Self-promotional, created by the article subject. Of course, the PROD was removed by the article subject, so here we are. According to the relevant ANI thread (which is how I found out about that page), the article has one possibly reliable source and zero reputable sources. If the subject is notable, it might be worth TNT-ing the article.

August 2023 edit

  1. Universal Living Wage: nominated at AfD; notified Klaus5s5s (talk · contribs) 08:36, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Since the last AfD, which was closed as keep, pretty much nothing was done to clean up the article. I know deletion is not cleanup, but this seems like a case where TNT may be needed. Of note is that I had tagged the article for speedy deletion for G5 in November 2022, but removed it after I was told G5 doesn't apply to pages others have edited.

October 2023 edit

  1. Junlper: nominated at AfD; notified Personisinsterest (talk · contribs) 13:33, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Contested PROD. Clear WP:BLP1E created after her suspension from Twitter. She's not notable on her own, only the things she did (goblin mode, Snickers dick vein, both of which have articles) are.

December 2023 edit

  1. Charlotte (disambiguation): nominated at RM; New name: Charlotte 20:42, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: There is no way that Charlotte unambiguously refers to Charlotte, NC. What about the multiple queens and princesses with that name? The other people with that name? Boats that have feminine pronouns for some reason? Other cities with that name? I don't want to sound like a dumb anti-American, but this screams Americentrism to me.

February 2024 edit

  1. SongLyrics: nominated at AfD; notified Wendyfan84 (talk · contribs) 00:37, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: I don't seem to find anything about this website anywhere in news online, even with as much noise reduction as possible from googling the website. PROD contested by an IP.

March 2024 edit

  1. Talk:Jerma: nominated at RM; New name: Jerma (disambiguation) 08:19, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: The obvious primary topic for Jerma is Jerma985. Google straight up tells me "did you mean jerma985?" when I google "jerma". Page views are significantly higher for the funny streamer man (34,380) compared to the next closest result (Jerma people at 2536).
  2. Ontario, CA: nominated at RfD; Target: Ontario, California (notified); notified Sethbot (talk · contribs) 23:06, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Once again, it should be retargeted to Ontario. It seems like common sense here.
  3. Dragon's Dogma 2: nominated at RM; New name: Dragon's Dogma II 02:29, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

April 2024 edit

  1. 2024 New Jersey earthquake: nominated at AfD; notified ElijahPepe (talk · contribs) 21:30, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: This fails the ten-year test, and goes against WP:NOTNEWS. Thousands of earthquakes with a magnitude of 4 happen every year, and this one didn't even cause a single death, and not much damage was reported. Additionally, I'll quote myself from the talk page: not only is this recentism, but this is also Americentrism. Such a earthquake in, say, the United Kingdom wouldn't have an article.
  2. Where is Kate?: nominated at RfD; Target: Catherine, Princess of Wales (notified); notified Jclemens (talk · contribs) 21:59, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Despite the history of an article being at this title, this search term is very much implausible. Delete it so we can finally get rid of it.
  3. Radio-Canada: nominated at RfD; Target: Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (notified); notified P.T. Aufrette (talk · contribs) 23:00, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Disambiguate. Radio-Canada can mean a few things, none of them being its English equivalent (though I guess it can be with enough of a stretch).

May 2024 edit

  1. Delta Air Lines Flight 520: nominated at AfD; notified GeekyAviation (talk · contribs) 04:56, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
  2. Autogynephilic persuasive pornography: nominated at RM; New name: Sissy hypno 02:40, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
  3. Francis Scott Key Bridge (Baltimore): nominated at RM; New name: Francis Scott Key Bridge 11:40, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Maybe this is a bit of recentism, but with its collapse, this Francis Scott Key Bridge has become the primary topic by far. It's not an uncontroversial idea by any stretch of the imagination (as I said, recentism definitely applies), but it's one that is worth being entertained.
