The Liberal Democratic Party (Croatian: Liberalno demokratska stranka) is the major liberal-conservative, conservative-liberal and pro-European political party in Croatia. Founded in 1995 after the collapse of the new Democratic Bloc, founded in 1993 after the collapse of the original Democratic Bloc, which was at the head of the 1989 Croatian Revolution. Its founder and former long-term Party President is a former Croatian politician and Prime Minister Josip Kralj.
The have been at the head of the government during 1995-1997 and 2001-2007 and currently since 2017, after the fall of the Lovrić's Third Cabinet. In the last parliamentary election in 2019, achieved 26.55%, placed first and won 67 seats in parliament. Party is at the head of the Popović's Second coalition cabinet, LDS-SLO-UKD.
