Newbie love!editHi! Just wanted to say thank you for the welcome message (even the generic template was a nice warm & fuzzy — my talk page was empty for a full two weeks!) and the heads-up on the American Civil War task-force. Have you thought about signing up to be a Wiki Guide? Also, <fangirl>: I recently did a little mini-project studying women on Wikipedia with Latoya Peterson of Jezebel and Racialicious, and you were one of the editors we looked at. We are both of the firm opinion that you rock super hardcore :) </fangirl> --Accedie (talk) 18:26, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
An explanation of his defenseeditI'm gay and Jewish, yet I find your comments on the self-proclaimed racist's page offensive. If this was a public forum, you'd be free to make them. However, I'm concerned that attacking editors in this regard could ultimately turn other people/editors off to wikipedia, and that as an admin your actions (like it or not) act as an example to others on here. The met project has had a devil of a time in trying to conform with wikipedia standards, showing any coordinated improvements, and maintaining any corp of editors as long as I've been on here. He was actually trying to make improvements in the long-neglected climate regime articles, so not all of his actions were bad. Last time I checked, it's not easy to become an administrator, and I'm sure it can get frustrating, just like editing can. The problem is, anyone can view talk page comments. Innocent bystanders out there might think that this encyclopedia condones personal attacks on others/incivility per the comments made on that talk page. Is persecution really the answer anyway? Either way, I think those comments should be erased/hidden at some point in the near future. This can't be the environment we want to exist within on wikipedia. Sorry about not posting the note on your page...I figured you'd see them on his page. Thegreatdr (talk) 02:19, 7 April 2011 (UTC) A blast from the pasteditI was just reading over some old archives and pulled up User:KieferSkunk/Zicraccozian, an archive of a conversation you had with a user that I'd blocked some time back. Thought you might get a kick out of the reminder. :) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 20:23, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Mind weighing in?editFisherQueen, I've seen you at LGBT-related articles, and want to know if you wouldn't mind weighing in on this: Talk:Heterosexualization#Not only an LGBT issue. I posted a message about it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject LGBT studies, which you may have seen already, but I hardly get any help from there or other WikiProjects these days. So part of my approach these days is to go to relevant editors individually and hope they weigh in. Flyer22 (talk) 18:31, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

I think he's getting the message now. I've showered him with policies and he's agreeing to stick to them. I've just asked what editing he'll be doing if unblocked, but I'm off to bed, so I'm passing the buck.... Peridon (talk) 22:16, 18 April 2011 (UTC) The Signpost: 18 April 2011edit

Hello FisherQueen! Here's a story as old as this wiki. Completely non-notable person creates as article about themselves. Article is tagged with {{db-person}}. Person, now as an IP, continually removes the tag. Tagging editor doesn't want to commit a 3RR violation, so contacts the admin who blocked the "real" creator. Tagging editor knows that no amount of tag removal or editing the article will make the person notable. What to do? Doc talk 08:52, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Well, I tried. On the positive side, I got to see this page. Now I can use "wastemen" in a sentence.OrangeMarlin Talk• Contributions 02:00, 25 April 2011 (UTC) Given the user's apology, I unblocked him a little early. Grandmasterka 16:56, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
need your explanation.editHello, I need your authorative statement as an administrator about a situation in other language wikipedia. The thing is that in March, 2011 we took a discussion in my talk page. Look here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:46.109.82.163. Based on your comment there, I took an action deleting one registry in other language wikipedia - some advice in my IP(now it's different) talk page made by other user. That was the reason why I joined in edit war with several persons which undid my page blanking, 2 of them gave me warnings only because of material removal in my talk page, later those "warnings" were included by me in my content removal. My IP got blocked from editing by an administrator because of that. Yes, I admit, I changed my ip several times only to prove my holy truth until my talk page was fully protected from edits. I know the thing is just ridicilous, but situation is a matter of princips. Now please tell me, these actions from administrator and users undoing my edits doesn't fit for your statement in my mentioned talk page, right? Does it makes difference that this precedent occurs in other language wikipedia? I preffer that rules(I am too lazy to search needed section) are the same. Thanks.46.109.58.181 (talk) 20:57, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
