I maintain that, despite the newfound puritanism sweeping America, that pornographic actors and actresses are notable enough to merit Wikipedia articles. Therefore, I am trying to standardize articles about them and make them generally a little more encyclopedic.

The inherent problem in this is that the adult entertainment industry is built upon lies, or at least upon a deliberate disengagement from reality. If it adds to a starlet's drawing power, any of the basic facts of her life can easily be re-engineered to fit the image. The most common statistics to alter are birth dates, birthplaces, and measurements. Naturally, many porn stars are also eager to conceal their "normal" identities. Compounding this difficulty is the fact that the main tools of research available (i.e. Google searches and the like) primarily turn up "bio" pages that routinely contradict each other. In short, unless a porn star has been extraordinarily forthcoming about his or her life, any article about him or her is going to consist of best guesses and half-truths. Trying to establish fact about a porn star is next to hopeless, but that's what I'm trying to do.

I confess that I do not have a good grasp on Wikimedia's policy of licensing for images, and therefore try to avoid uploading pictures. If you understand the nuances, please feel free to add pictures to any of the articles. (I have been told that DVD covers are usually acceptable as long as they do not contain explicit images.)

Yes, I am a one-trick pony. Almost all the edits I make will be about pornographic movies, their stars, or have at least some sexual aspect (glory hole, CFNM/CMNF, etc).

Vivid Girls edit

My current mini-project is to make sure that all current and past Vivid Girls are placed in the Category:Vivid Girls. Italicized entries in the following list are correctly categorized. I will (eventually) make articles for any actresses on the list without one.
