Status: All cities, towns and villages with plain name redirects are listed here or have already been resolved; townships completed only through C. Some former towns have been listed as well, but not comprehensively.

Doubtful. I literally had to funnel a Google search all the way down to "Kirkland Lake" -Ontario -ON -CJKL -Virginiatown -Dobie -Kearns -Kenogami -"Northern College" -Gold -Enouy -garbage -"Adams Mine" -"Highway 66" -Temagami -Timiskaming -"New Liskeard" -Haileybury -Teck just to find even one page that didn't pertain to the Ontario town — and even that page didn't turn out to be about a "Kirkland Lake", but about a town called Kirkland that's located on the shore of a Lake Washington. Then OK to move. CrazyC83 (talk) 04:24, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Is there any realistic likelihood of us ever actually needing separate articles about those two topics, rather than just one? Bearcat (talk) 04:08, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Not likely, but not impossible. Category:Former cities has dozens of entries. CrazyC83 (talk) 04:24, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Quebec

edit

Status: Only villes have been listed or resolved to date.

Agreed (the one in Quebec has a population of 7,400, so I'm not certain that its notability actually exceeds the possibility of this being a typo for Louisville), though a number of direct links should be fixed before this is actually changed. Bearcat (talk) 04:17, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Discussion: Ibex Valley is a two-line unreferenced stub which does little besides point people to the municipality of Ibex Valley, Yukon. Should it be expanded into a proper article about the valley itself, or just merged with the municipality? - Not sure.
