The Legend and Butterfly (Japanese: レジェンド&バタフライ, Hepburn: Legend and Butterfly) is a 2023 Japanese film directed by Keishi Ōtomo and written by Ryōta Kosawa [ja]. It stars Takuya Kimura and Haruka Ayase as Oda Nobunaga and his wife Nōhime and is based on their relationship. Released on January 27, 2023, it is the 70th anniversary film of Toei Company.

Synopsis

Oda Nobunaga and Nōhime meet through a political marriage and are at odds with each other, but eventually form a strong bond and move towards their goal of unifying the country.^[1]
