Most aspect of the article check out: it was expanded within the correct timeframe, is free of copyvios, is neutral, appropriately sourced, etc. My only issue is that I don't like the word "allegedly" in the hook. We are not suggesting the villagers committed a crime, or anything. Let's just say it plainly; something like "claimed to have seen" or "signed statements saying they saw" would be much better.
