  • Article is new enough and barely long enough. Where is Pretty Cure and Love Live! mentioned in the source? The video source seems incomprehensible to me, is it in Japanese? There is a fair similarity between the text of the article and the sources at times, may want to re-edit some of the text. No obvious copyvio or plagiarism issues though. I prefer ALT1 as better sourced. About the image, I've some concerns that it is effectively a derivative work of the costume and thus might be non-free. Interesting topic in the QPQ. • @Jo-Jo Eumerus: - I've better sourced the anime mentioned (note that in the article the series is referred to by the abbrevation Precure). I've also tried to re-word the article a bit. The video is in Japanese, but it does come with English-language subtitles, if you click on the "CC" button on the video's scroll bar. I know the article length is a worry - the Japanese language article (from where I got the image) is much longer, but as I don't speak Japanese I don't understand it enough to quote the sources from it. @ISD: I think that relying on subtitles makes it unnecessary onerous to verify the text. Is there some printed out source? Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 08:07, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
  • @Jo-Jo Eumerus: - First, I don't think reading subtitles is a particularly onerous task. Second, if there is a printed out source, my guess is that it would be in Japanese and as I stated I don't read the language, so I'll have to ask for help in order to translate the sources. ISD (talk) 08:24, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
OK, but the image has still that copyright issue. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 08:37, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
  • @Jo-Jo Eumerus: - I'm happy to remove the image from the nomination. As for sorting out the copyright, if there is an issue, how can this be done? ISD (talk) 09:13, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
  • @Jo-Jo Eumerus: - The decision made was to delete the image. Where does the nomination stand now? ISD (talk) 16:36, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
Also, @ISD: you may want to add a non-free image to the page instead; we can't use non-frees in DYK hooks but we can in the articles. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 19:32, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but I have a question: Is she animated, or a real person? It's not clear from the article. Yoninah (talk) 15:53, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: She is an actual person. I don't know if it is a stage name or not, but she is an actual person who wears an anime-style mask on her head. ISD (talk) 17:12, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
  • @ISD: OK, thanks. I added ratings to the talk page. Can you add an inline cite for the first hook? I'd like to promote that one. Yoninah (talk) 15:30, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
  • @ISD: you need to put an inline cite after the hook fact in the article, not in the DYK nomination. The only place you mention wearing the mask is in the lead, and there is no inline cite there. Meanwhile, the Hyper Japan website doesn't say anything about her wearing a mask. Yoninah (talk) 15:42, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Great, thanks. Hook ref verified and cited inline. Rest of review per Jo-Jo Eumerus. ALT0 hook good to go. Yoninah (talk) 10:24, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
