FYI, I have a pdf copy of the obituary, and would be pleased to provide it if needed by anyone. Just contact me. Werner's obituary described it as, "Inimitable in execution and almost excelling nature. . ." "Christopher Werner Obituary". News & Courier. 14 June 1875. p. 6. "Designed by Steenken Metal Palmetto Tree Made in Werner's Shop". News And Courier. 14 February 1939. p. 4. Retrieved 11 January 2012. 7&6=thirteen () 14:24, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Nice article, well sourced, I did some copy-editing but perhaps another round of smoothing the prose would be good. Please get rid of an external link in the body of the text (pdf street), make it a ref, please. The hook is interesting, the picture free. I would place that bigger in the article, instea of in the gallery. If the pic will be taken, is up to the prep-builder. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:34, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Made the PDF an inline reference. Moved picture into body at Works and made larger. We (the co-editor and I) will continue to improve the prose.--Doug Coldwell talk 19:33, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
fine, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:20, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Put in a footnote to try to explicate the question concerning his denomination (presumably Lutheran or Catholic). 7&6=thirteen () 05:07, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
