Angelina Jolie filmography
edit- ... that Angelina Jolie (pictured) played the supporting role of a sociopath mental patient in Girl, Interrupted (1999), for which she won an Academy Award?
- ALT1:... that Angelina Jolie (pictured) starred in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), the highest grossing opening weekend ever for a film featuring an action heroine?
- ALT2:... that Maleficent (2014), a dark fantasy film featuring Angelina Jolie (pictured) in the titular role, became her biggest commercial success?

- Have a look at ALT1 - it doesn't make sense. Please either create an ALT2 that makes sense or strike it, and I will base my review on ALT0. When you've done that, I'll have a look at the article.--Launchballer 20:07, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Launchballer: I have tweaked ALT1. If you are still unhappy with ALT1, please strike it and go with the first one. -- FrankBoy CHITCHAT 20:27, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- I do apologise; I meant to say "reword ALT1 as an ALT2". However,
- I've had a look at the article and unfortunately, any expansion before 9 June, where you picked up the expansion, wouldn't count because it is before ten days of nominating. To qualify, another 4324 characters would be needed to warrant 5x expansion. (As an aside, your signature according to WP:Syntaxhighlight was broken; I've fixed it on here but it may not be exactly what you intended. Have a look.)--Launchballer 23:20, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Launchballer: There isn't any policy that says that expansion before 10 days wouldn't be count. An expansion even before a year is acceptable. Even the criterion says "from the x5 expansion count for x5 expanded articles". There is no mention that expansion should begin under 10 days or so. An example I can give you is List of films released by Yash Raj Films; its expansion began on December 26, 2014 and was nominated on January 5, 2015, which means exactly 10 days after the expansion. Another example would be List of Dharma Productions films (expansion started on January 15, 2015 and nomination on February 16). Before my expansion the article's size was 8110 bytes while it is now 42,056 bytes, which means 5x expanded. Anyways all of the three hooks are interesting enough and verifiable. -- FrankBoy CHITCHAT 00:15, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
- WP:DYK rules say the nomination should be within seven days of fivefold expansion. Time must have passed. --George Ho (talk) 05:42, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
- Ditto Launchballer and George. Size refers to the number of prose characters in an article, not the total article size found under the revision history - as per Rule 1b. Even if the first edited version was used, there were 1,609 characters so it would need 8,045 characters to be eligible under fivefold. It currently contains 3,721 characters. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it'll pass here - maybe try over at WP:FLC? Fuebaey (talk) 06:55, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
- I thought the fivefold expansion include the whole size of the article, including the prose. Didn't know that only prose is count and not the table, infobox, references, wiki markups etc. Thanks for telling. I better try next time for another one. Hopefully the same won't happen at its FLC. -- FrankBoy CHITCHAT 09:55, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
