Combined? edit

I see that this is part of this military history project, but there is already a section on this topic in Zhuge Liang's bio, and so I just thought they should be combined somehow.CharacterZero 22:19, 27 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I disagree. The campaign is quite long and not exactly only related with Zhuge Liang. Herunar 03:37, 10 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Persistant Meng Huo edit

If Zhou Yu was the most persistant person who sought to eliminate Zhuge Liang then Meng Huo would be the second person whose persistance can be comparable to the Wu strategist.

At the time of Chi Bi, Zhou Yu realized how much of a threat Zhuge Liang was due to his deft insight and how well he could understand the minds of the South Land. Although Zhou Yu used every ruse he knew of, Zhuge Liang proved to be more than what he could handle. During the time of the Nanman Rebellion, Meng Huo furiously tries his best to attack Zhuge Liang yet he did not know of the Shu strategist.

Although both men (Zhou Yu and Meng Huo) are not comparable to each other in reputation or military intelligence, they are similiar to two thing: Persistant and Relentless. --Zhang Liao 02:05, 9 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

The suggestion of Zhou Yu is fantasy made by The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The historic Zhou Yu is brilliant and selfless. On the other hand, Meng Huo was rather arrogant, but not relentless, as he eventually respected and joined Zhuge Liang. Herunar 03:37, 10 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
