David became the king of Jerusalem and the tribe of Benjamin, it was his son, Solomon who can be viewd as the first king of all the Israelite tribes.
I propose that we treat the priest as the primary meaning on Wikipedia and turn this into a disambiguation page. PatGallacher 01:37, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Zadok → Zadok (disambiguation) — The High Priest is the primary meaning, the piece of music "Zadok the Priest" is named after him, all other meanings are rather obscure. PatGallacher (talk) 09:43, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Zadok (High Priest) → Zadok
- Support weakly: Zadok as a Christian name is underrepresented in this article, but the predominant meaning is probably the Priest. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 18:40, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Support. The undisambiguated nme Zadok has a clear primary meaning as the biblical character. Andrewa (talk) 17:47, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
