Surname edit

With this edit I changed "Yucho Chow" to "Yucho" as per WP:SURNAME. User:Curiocurio reverted this edit, saying "The use of the surname is correct except for occasional variation". Apart from the one mistaken instance of changing a "Yucho Chow Studio", would Curiocurio like to explain how the use of the surname, in cases of using "Yucho Chow" is correct? Please also explain what is meant by "occasional variation", because I changed seven instances where the full name is used. Even given that his name may be being used here in an anglicised format, rather than a Chinese format, and his surname is actually Chow (note that DEFAULTSORT here uses "Chow, Yucho"), then the article still warrants changing. Thanks. -Lopifalko (talk) 06:17, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Lopifalko. Thank you for your comment and interest. I'll change the over use of "Yucho Chow". I was going by the newspaper sources which use Chow as his surname, so I took that to be correct. Looking at the Manual of Style, there shouldn't be "occasional variation" so I'll have to look at some other articles I've edited. Curiocurio (talk) 12:41, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
