@CYSYork: A few additional comments from me: 1) The activities section is now split into sub-headings, which will be easier to add to or remove from in the future. I do note that there wasn't a reference for YCT being integral in some of the first fully pedestrianised areas of York - a quick google of that turned up references only to YCT itself. This is a good example of something that I've currently ommitted but which should be added in, with a proper reference. We want to avoid too many references to the YCT website or its publications; secondary sources like books and news articles really are the way to go. I'll leave that one with you. 2) I'm really not sure whether the 'Planning oversight' section needs to exist in the Wikipedia article at all for two reasons. One: it's somewhat implicit in the nature of YCT's activities that it is looking out for the built heritage of York (that's the point, no?). Two: I think its unnecessarily promotional of YCT's guardianship role. It might be valuable and interesting work that the Trust does, but that doesn't mean it's something relevant for an encyclopedia article. I've left it in with the flag for the moment, but unless this can be better referenced with secondary sources I will be bold and cull it. 3)The bibliography and external links from the sandbox are wholly omitted because they are either used in the article as references or not relevant links - if people want to find links to these other things they should be flagged in the blue wikilinks in text. Anywhere, they have been incorporated 4)Generally the current live version has cut tangential stuff (like the bit about the manufactory of the iron railings that were saved). Do read through again and, if you like, compare to your sandboxed version.Zakhx150 (talk) 14:19, 6 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Zakhx150: Thanks. The Planning Oversight section was not added by me but by the other contributor so if you want to delete it, feel free. BTW I question the cutting of the 'tangential' information as it seems quite significant to me in a historical article. Note: I have now added the missing citation in the Buildings and Public Spaces section.CYSYork (talk) 16:54, 6 June 2020 (UTC)CYSYorkReply
