Contested deletion
editThis page should not be speedy deleted because... --Milanss (talk) 17:26, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
I didn't even read the other article that was deleted, how can it be identical. It's not fair that you don't give people the chance to know about this talented rapper who died by the age of 19, it realy sucks. This artist deserves to have an article on Wikipedia, he was best freind of the gratest rapper of all times Tupac Shakur, a member of his group "Outlawz", an Album called Son rise Vol.1, and is included in several world known rap songs such as "Hit em up". I just searched for information and wrote this article, there's no point in deleting it. if you do it I will write it again
- If it is deleted and you write it again, you will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Don't disrupt Wikipedia to make a point. The subject of the article must comply with WP:MUSIC for the article to exist, and the article must prove that the subject complies with at least one of those criteria. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:48, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- I added: "Kadafi was featured on the single Hit 'Em Up released June 4, 1996 (Death Row/Intercope), one of the greatest rap hits of all times. The song is included on the album All Eyez on Me (#1 on the U.S. Billboard 200), on the compilation album Death Row: The Singles Collection, on 2Pac's Greatests Hits, and on the compilation album Death Row Greatest Hits" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Milanss (talk • contribs) 03:22, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Looks like you did a great job of rescuing this article. Good work!
- You do need to provide sources for grandiose claims of notability like "one of the greatest rap hits of all time", otherwise such phrases may get removed as peacock terms. ~Amatulić (talk) 04:56, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Notability
editYaki Kadafi is not just WP:NOTABLE based on his music career and relationship to Tupac.
Yaki Kadafi is also WP:NOTABLE because he was a sole witness to Tupac's murder. WP:Big events make key participants notable.
If you were to ask 10 WP:HH experts, I'd wager you would get an consensus that Yaki Kadafi was notable. Before deletion I would ask that you would try and get an opinion from at least one of them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-Le4z3_RtI 74.198.9.7 (talk) 20:28, 23 January 2012 (UTC) I have added several notable references, from ASCAP, Billboard, IMDb as well as several newspaper articles relating to his death.--Regeek (talk) 20:31, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
Untitled
editThe sections dont add up. Under death it says he was shot no accident.
The next section says he was murdered before he could see his daughters.
Cant be both. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cornersss (talk • contribs) 03:52, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
Sisters
edit- Doesn't article mention his 2 not-yet born sisters?
The next section says he was murdered before he could see his daughters.
