Broadway/NY debut -- Regina?
editWarfield was in the premiere of Blitzstein's Regina (opera) in 1949, prior to the recital debut listed in this article. Was Regina his Broadway debut/New York debut/professional debut as well?

- No it wasn't -- I've found that his New York debut was in Call Me Mister. Online bio bookmarked for info to be incorporated:

How come there is no mention of Wm. Warfield's marriage to Lynotyne Price? Did they have children. How many "miles" did they put on the marriage? Was he straight? These are the things that should be par normal in a bio profile! Also, did star, or acted in any "non-stereotypical" stage performances? --65.88.88.252 (talk) 16:50, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Veryverser
