Uncle/Wrong birth year?

Hi just a quick note, it's a bit too OR to make any amendments to the article but just wanted to have it down somewhere: I have found out anecdotally that this William Robb is the nephew of the Rangers goalkeeper of the same name due to a local Facebook group which had posted a school photo of the older man and some relatives were confused as to which one it referred to. I couldn't find anything online to confirm that fact although it does seem likely. I also found birth certificate entries for both on the Scotland's People site: the older man seems accurate, but it states the younger man was actually born in 1928 and Rutherglen. Two sources both say December 1927 - perhaps the birth wasn't registered until 1928 and that is why there is a possible discrepancy? Giant Snowman 09:00, 17 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
