How did he pronounce Demarest? edit

Thanks -- Jo3sampl (talk) 19:02, 13 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Okay --  <d EH m er ih s t> per http://www.pronouncenames.com/pronounce/demarest -- but I don't know how to show that according to WP standards.-- Jo3sampl (talk) 19:11, 13 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Filmography edit

There seems to be a mistake in list of features Mr. Demarest appeared it. Sullivan's Travels appears in the list twice, once with the correct year, and a second time with the correct character name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.97.149.168 (talk) 00:53, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

It's been 7 years edit

We're still waiting for the standard Wikipedia phonetic pronunciation of his name to be added. I for one would like to know.

portraying a hen-pecked husband who murders his wife. edit

Slanted towards misogyny. His character was a philandering drunkard and layabout. Seems they gave as good as they got. Hen-pecked suggests he was ostensibly a nice guy being treated poorly by his wife. Not the case for the character. 86.19.86.233 (talk) 10:03, 29 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
