How many laws does Wien have? edit

So far I've found three laws by Wien:

Is this true? How many laws does he have? Anyone know? Also, the top two need to go to lower case. --Sadi Carnot 02:25, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The first two laws are the same. All of them were discovered by Wilhelm Wien, see de:Wilhelm Wien. --Qaywsxedc (talk) 21:33, 15 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciation edit

There should be some pronunciation guide displayed on this page. His name is German, and we (English speakers) should use German pronunciation rules, instead of our English/american ones. I know it's not pronounced "wine", and I've been taught that his name was pronounced "veen", but another site online suggests "vain" as the pronunciation. So, we need some clarification from a German speaker. William Moates (talk) 15:27, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm a native German speaker, and the correct pronunciation is "veen". See also the article Vienna (German: Wien IPA: [/viːn/]). Regards, --D.H (talk) 16:13, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
