fixed the articles style, and removed the following as unreferenced. i will try to add it back in if i can find a ref: Miami filmmaker (New Walden, Changing Faces, Voice of the Camera) Bruce Merwin was set to remake Wild Women of Wongo at the locations Wild Women of Wongo was originally filmed when The Film Crew, a group of MST3K alumni Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett, released a riffed version of the movie on DVD on September 11, 2007 through Shout! Factory.

This riffed version made it impossible for Merwin to receive a copyright for the film script Merwin sent in to the US copyright office. "Riffing Wild Women of Wongo must have been lots of fun and I trust provided deep satisfaction for Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett. It saved me lots of time and money. I was naively looking forward to doing a Wild Women of Wongo remake. At first I was sorry to find out that a riffing version of Wild Women of Wongo received a copyright and caused the copyright office to reject my copyright. But after the shock wore off I was happy to move onto another project. At the time I visited Coral Castle (one of the original locations) the film seemed ripe to remake, Wild Women of Wongo was more ripe to riff obviously," said Merwin.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 07:00, 14 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I found a mention on the Film Florida Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=28925175538&topic=6088 -- would that be of help? I somewhat doubt it, but thought I would mention it just in case. Clockster (talk) 09:33, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

cinematographer

The cinematographer links to a... Canadian lawyer. I assume that is an error, or was he a lawyer who moonlighted in the foetid outskirts of Hollywood?
