A map of the reservation in relation to the surrounding counties would be useful.Parkwells (talk) 15:18, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Twin Lakes?

edit

"Predominantly Indian settlements include Elbow Lake; Naytahwaush which is the largest Indian community on the Reservation; Pine Point; Rice Lake; Twin Lakes; and White Earth which is the second largest Indian settlement on the Reservation." According to the article about Twin Lakes, Minnesota the town, there are only 155 people there and only 0.60% are Native American. It highlights a spot in Southern MN on the map. However, There are two lakes (not a town) called the twin lakes (North Twin and South Twin, respectively) that are in/near Naytahwaush. Is that what this is talking about? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.121.249.93 (talk) 13:43, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

How can the reservation still be poor after the land settlement act?66.37.237.67 (talk) 20:04, 17 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Primary images

I added a map and made the White Earth Nation flag the primary images for the page. Having a black & white/historical photo as the primary image further contributes to the modern bias that native people exist only in the past and that they only dress in ceremonial clothes.
