Who the hell is Nick Ball? The last couple of sentences should be deleted. Pienamo 23:44, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have restored mention of Wenvoe castle and of Wrinstone earthworks. I suspect deletion was inspired by a desire to project a certain image of this 'Best Kept' locality and suppress aspects of historical reality----Clive Sweeting

you forgot to mention wenvoe is also home to a very large busy quarry and a thriving landfill site. Norman Berkwonk

Made minor alteration to clarify that the Horse & Jockey is actually in Twyn-yr-Odyn and also to correct an error (the HTV studios at Culverhouse had nothing to do with the transmitter mast. The Mast is a separate site originally owned by BBC, then by Crown Castle/National Grid). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.210.223.71 (talk) 11:43, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Croeso i Wenfô

edit

It looks odd that we give the Welsh name as Gwenfô but have a picture of a sign that reads 'Croeso i Wenfô'. Is this an example of consonant mutation, or an alternative Welsh name, or a mistake? If it is a mutation then perhaps we should add a footnote. Verbcatcher (talk) 22:34, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
