Please don't delete this page! I worked real hard to come up with it! I'm not giving out any fake information!!

Questionable trivia items edit

Can anybody verify these trivia items?

  • Myra, Principal Skinner's secretary, first appears in this episode, although she has been referenced in some earlier episodes.
    • Which episodes was she referenced in? How?
      • Since there is no answer, I'm removing the statement.
  • Serious Homer is dressed in Homer's conductor uniform from Marge vs. the Monorail.
    • Can anybody confirm? It didn't look like the uniform to me. Is there a screenshot somewhere?
      • I'll confim it; I rewatched the episode tonight. –Swid 06:18, 31 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
        • Thanks...I can't believe I missed that. Monorail is my fav ep. -- MisterHand 15:31, 31 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • This episode contains several references to The DaVinci Code.
    • What references? List them.
  • While not striking, they are there. These two are more obvious:
    • The writing in blood by intellectual Homer.
    • Bart's escape from the Diner is very simmilar to Robert Langdon's escape from the Louvre Museum JQF 00:59, 1 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
      • The "escape out the diner window" is a generic escape that's been used in countless books and movies. Likewise, writing in blood has been used in several thrillers over the years. Neither is unique to The DaVinci Code. I'm going to remove the statement.

Thanks -- MisterHand 03:15, 31 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • It looks like something was deleted in this passage.

"... until he sees Homer run down a horse with his car, who leaves with Homer to go to Las Vegas, in return to wash off the horse's blood off the car." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.9.112.31 (talk) 16:18, 14 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

No Fly List edit

Bart is on the US governemtns No Fly List and nobody has mentioned it as of yet? Well, I'm going to change this right away.

In the episode, it is shown that Bart was put on the No Fly list by the airline herself. In reality this is done by a somewhat murky (no right to appeal, secret list etc) government process. Will add as goof.--Soylentyellow 11:30, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The ratings edit

The ratings isn't low (explictly). See The Wettest Stories Ever Told (7 million viewers and below COUNTS as low). 202.160.16.134 (talk) 12:11, 8 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
