Have the rosters been expanded up to 13 athletes?

There are multiple sources that indicate that water polo rosters might have been expanded up to 13 athletes (with no AP). This info was already shared via Instagram some time ago, but as long as World Aquatics did not release any official statement, it has been overlooked.

However the rosters announced until now include 13 athletes and no comment about reserves or Ap are there:

Its possible they are including the AP athlete in the numbers. The qualification system shows 12 athletes and until we get a source saying teams are 13 per, we need to stick with what the qualification system says imo. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 03:53, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
