Can anyone tell me why Japan finished higher than Kazakhstan in women's water polo? 120.16.128.186 (talk) 11:13, 6 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I got it. Quote: "Games officials announced on Sept. 24 that China won the gold and Japan, which tied Kazakhstan in their head-to-head match, was awarded the silver based on having scored more goals in their match against first-place winner China."
