Erm, the centre of the yellow dot looks more like its over Romsey. Nowhere near Warsash clock tower.

Origin of name "Warsash"?

edit

Does anybody know the origin of the name Warsash? Sw258 (talk) 10:40, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Warsash. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Hamble–Warsash Ferry

edit

Any significant new information with regards to should be placed on that article. The section should be retained with a short paragraph of the Ferry and perhaps mention of the Hut on the Warsash side. Some info has yet to be moved/copied from this article to that. Some information is currently duplicate and a WP:CFORK is occurring in the Warsash article, but the main template should prevent that in future. Djm-leighpark (talk) 00:49, 11 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

In time this section should be reduced to mentioning the Ferry, The pink Hut, and perhaps how to get there and the ferry picture and possibly a pink hut picture. All information should however be majored on the Hamble–Warsash Ferry article Djm-leighpark (talk) 13:23, 13 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposal

I don't think a merge from Hook is a good idea, as noted Hook was a parish in its own right and both articles have a decent amount of content. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:22, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
