@Doremo: Hi there. I saw you added etymology of this place. While digging through Jezikovna svetovalnica today, I found this question and answer by Marko Snoj, which seems contradictory to statments that are currently presented in this article. Could you re-check Snoj's dictionary if you maybe missed something? I suspect that either one of them is wrong or just lacks a note that Vojsko near Idrija and other two Vojsko are of different etymologies. Thanks in advance! Hello. Snoj's dictionary states "Vojsko ... Prvotno *vojьsko (selo) 'vojaško naselje' ... vsebuje slovan pridevnik *vojьskъ 'vojaški' .... Napačno Pintar ... izvaja iz Visoko", and so the current version of the text in the article correctly represents the cited source. The posted answer at the link is by Silvo Torkar, who is also a respected etymologist but sometimes disagrees with Snoj's etymologies. Doremo (talk) 02:41, 4 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
