Talk:Visual word form area

Untitled edit

This page is a bit of a mess, grammatically and structurally. I don't know enough about the topic to confidently edit it, but there are some serious problems with its legibility and possibly with its facts. It uses the passive voice too much, and the edit by BIllingworth of 21:01, 17 April 2016‎ introduced a lot of detail that needs copy-editing. In particular, I suspect that the sentence, "Instead a lexical theory was proposed where the left fusiform gyrus neurons are thought not to detect words by attempting to match them to stored representations of known words" should have the "not" removed (inferring from its context). Can someone familiar with the literature please clean this up? Shepazu (talk) 12:01, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
