Baharji Bohra

His name and religion has been confirmed by John F. Richards and this very important sources such as [1] why then are changes in the biography being rightfully denied (kindly :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.182.106.61 (talk) 13:31, 1 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

The reference cited by you (The Merchant Prince Virji Vora by Balkrishna Govind Gokhale) actually calls him "Virji Vora" and mentions him as a Jain. John F. Richards just makes a passing mention of the subject, and probably calls him Ismaili simply because of "Bohra" in his name. As I've pointed out in the reason given during the move, the number of sources calling him "Virji Vora" is much more than the ones calling him "Baharji Bohra". Most of the sources calling him "Baharji" are just passing mentions; on the other hand, most of the articles which discuss the subject in detail call him "Virji", and describe him as a Jain. utcursch | talk 03:57, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

The name "Virji Vora" is far more common than "Baharji Bohra". So, I'm moving this article to Virji Vora per WP:COMMONNAME. utcursch | talk 12:48, 25 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
