Article issues and classification
edit- This article is not start class but a weakly glorified (reference and external links section only) stub. Reassess article to proper classification.
Possible merging
edit- I am going to explore some merges. There should really be no real objection to some of the following possible candidates: This article and likely the;
- two mile Alabama Warrior Railway,
- the red linked Cicero Central Railroad (CERR),
- the 1.76 mile Dutchtown Southern Railroad,
- the 48.8-mile Ithaca Central Railroad,
- the Watco listed 23.6 mile Kaw River Railroad that, according to the math from that article, is possibly more considering: In the "Additions and expansions" section it states; "in April 2005 by adding 16 miles of track from Birmingham, Missouri to Kearney, Missouri. In May 2007, nearly 15 miles of industrial track were added to serve customers of the Bedford Yard.
- The 1.5 mile Baton Rouge Southern Railroad,
- the single sourced Ithaca Central Railroad that contains two paragraphs,
- the Geaux Geaux Railroad (GOGR),
- the Pennsylvania Southwestern Railroad (PSWR),
- the 8.6 mile San Antonio Central Railway (SAC), candidates
- the Swan Ranch Railroad with two paragraphs and two references,
- the apparently troubled 62.12 mile Timber Rock Railroad, and the
- 171-mile Yellowstone Valley Railroad.
- I have only performed a cursory check and will look more. A very short- shortline company, especially one with one or two references, is a very likely candidate for merging. -- Otr500 (talk) 01:45, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
- I don't see how these would all be merge candidates with the Vicksburg Southern Railroad; did you mean to post this somewhere else? Mackensen (talk) 11:58, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
