Mystery word

Clearly a name has been translated here which should not have been. Problem seems to also exist in Spanish, interestingly, so perhaps the text was translated into Spanish; might explain why it is so bad. Translation

After I began translating the parts of History which come from the Spanish version of this article, I felt that I should document some of the choices I made in translation. First, I dug through the history of the WP:ES version of the article and found that in the version of that which this is based one, the mystery word Fames is actually a typo of the indigenous group Pames. Next, "capilla" was translated as shrine, but looking at context and the dictionary, chapel seems much more likely. History of land litigation seems much better than background information for "antecedentes derivados". I think here "tributo" means tax. Juan el Demografo (talk) 16:13, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Unable to find any information on an "arroyo feo" so I just assumed that it's a simple descriptor. I took "toma auge" as the following things peaked. I feel satisfied, so I removed the rough translation tag. Juan el Demografo (talk) 02:01, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

Mystery Source

"Landavazo 1996, page 167" was cited at the end of the paragraph, apparently supporting the claim about the Indians' donations.
