65th Sexiest? edit

Is it really important to put her Comic Buyer's Guide "Sexiest Women in Comics" ranking in the intro? It's not pertinent to the character. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.122.121.2 (talk) 21:21, 18 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

'Ultimate' mistake edit

Why is the cover of an 'Ultimate' Marvel title used to show a picture of Valkyrie when absolutely no mention of 'Ultimate' Valkyrie is made in the article? In the Ultimate universe, Valkyrie has no powers, nor do any of the Defenders pictured on the cover, with the exception of Hank Pym.

Someone placed this pic on the page. I was hoping that the person that placed it would write something about "ulitmate" Valkyrie. I don't know much about the Ultimate version.

Strength ranking edit

"Valkyrie is the strongest of any female Asgardian" – doesn't Hela qualify as one then...? --Anshelm '77 00:50, 10 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I would say technically not. Hela doesn't live in Asgard, wasn't born there nor is she the child of Asgardians. EDIT: and there is the fact that Hela's strength is dependent on her cloak. [User:Dizzy D|Dizzy D]] 11:24, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Hela's the daughter of Loki, and Loki is an Asgardian (a native of Asgard). Dr Archeville 21:12, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Loki is a giant, born in Jotunheim. He is an adopted Asgardian, not a native. Hela is the daughter of Loki and another giant and born in Jotunheim. Dizzy D 21:51, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Valkyrie.jpeg edit

Image:Valkyrie.jpeg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
