As a member of St Andrews University RFC and to celebrate our 150th anniversary next year I am in the process of completing this entry with the permission of the UStARFC Sesquicentenial web page creator, another club member. I will endeavour to cite all relevant data and resolve any copyright issues. The club history remains the intellectual property of the UStARFC. Willbunn 18:29, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

My feeling is that this club does not deserve a page to itself — general consensus has been in the past that student societies do not get their own page, unless particularly notable. This club *may* be notable, but only if its history can be established via independent sources, and is sufficiently interesting to warrant mention. Given the lack of information on this page at the moment, I feel it would surely be better to merge this information to the university's main page. Rlfb 15:07, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

As one of the oldest rugby clubs on historical record I feel that its notability is desrved, although more work needs to go into its wiki-page. There is plenty of documented historical references on the club someone must take the time to collate it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.72.151.210 (talk) 04:57, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

They were founded in 1858, were founder members of the SRU and have had at least four or five internationalists. --MacRusgail (talk) 18:11, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
