Fair use rationale for Image:UNKLogo.JPG

Image:UNKLogo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

About that "Frank House" link....

I don't believe the Frank House in this article is in any way related to the Frank House that you get when you click the link.....

Merger proposal

I'd like to merge Kearney Memorial Field into University of Nebraska at Kearney. The KMF article is a three-sentence stub; a Google search suggests that there's almost nothing in the way of independent reliable sourcing to expand the article, and I strongly suspect that it wouldn't survive WP:AFD. Note that the UNK article already includes two- or three-sentence descriptions of many campus facilities, and could easily accommodate one more paragraph including all the content of the KMF article. Ammodramus (talk) 01:44, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

Why not a merge? This would have most of the effect of a deletion, but would convert KMF into a redirect rather than a redlink; this would point to the existing paragraph or so on KMF, and would decrease the likelihood that the redlink would be converted into a new three-sentence stub.
I wasn't aware that the field wasn't on campus, and that it was owned by the city rather than by UNK. Thanks to Swinquest for that information; in view of that, I'd now favor a merge to Kearney, Nebraska#Attractions rather than to the UNK or the Lopers article. Ammodramus, I am sorry for being off the grid for a while - running out of time to do everything that I would like to do. You are welcome for providing the information. Not sure where you are from, but I am a native of Kearney, Nebraska, so if there is something else that you have a question on, please feel free to let me know. swinquest (talk) 05:24, 4 December 2017 (UTC)

Oppose: I don't see a need to, it could stand by itself. It is noteworthy enough and I believe it meets all the criteria for an article, in my opinion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ghinga7 (talkcontribs) 18:00, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
