editThere really should be a wikipedia article about the USS Thomas, the ship which brought the Thomasites to the Philippines. I am ill-equipped to create such an article but if there is no offer from someone better equipped than I to do this, and if there is no objection, I will
- rename this disambiguation page as USS Thomas (disambiguation)
- create a stub article named USS Thomas about that ship, mainly using info drawn from this page
- place {{otheruses}} at the head of the stub article
- provide a few appropriate wikilinks to the article from other articles -- Boracay Bill 05:55, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

- To be inline with the Wikiproject ships, I moved this page to USS Thomas and fixed the links. The ship that brought the Thomasites is at USS Thomas (1894) which is the name inline with the ship naming conventions. Jinian 23:54, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
