Correct Date?

The last sentence seems to contradict itself: "...until being sold to Mexico on 30 August 1962 ... Hilarity was sold to Mexico on 2 October 1962...", was the Hilarity sold to Mexico on 30 August 1962 or 2 October 1962? 84.192.155.52 (talk) 18:04, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
