This article has been checked against the following criteria for B-class status:
Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships says it did. There is more detail in Shadow Divers. The attack report says the hedgehogs hit something and exploded, after which there was a smell of oil but no debris. The war time assessment was something like "probable damage" upgraded after the war to "probable kill" (from memory, I don't have the book in front of me).
