Article Updates

edit

I made an attempt to move the article from being about the SNES port and more to being about the original arcade game that the SNES port was based upon. Still more work to be done if anyone feels like adding more details or correcting things I no doubt goofed up. :P -Locke Cole 06:50, 17 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

I have merged a lot of the material from the video games section to the U.N. Squadron article (in the ports section). Kcordina 09:31, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Name Change: From Area 88 to U.N. Squadron

edit

Does anyone know the real reason why the name was changed in the U.S. version of the game? I found that really unnecesary since it was based on the original japanese manga and anime.Vic729

This is the english wikpedia and primarily reflects the names given in the United States and Europe. Thus the reason for hte naming. --larsinio (poke)(prod) 00:54, 4 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
I think he's asking about the reason for the naming of the game, not the article.--Daveswagon 22:51, 6 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Amstrad CPC edition

edit

I own an Amstrad CPC (tape) edition of this game, which includes Strider II on the reverse side, and wonder if this port is notable. --213.40.131.66 20:40, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Other Ports

edit

This game was ported to many 8 bits and 16 bits home computers like: Amstrad CPC, Amiga, Atari St by Tiertex and publised in Europe by U.S. Gold

Difficulty

edit

Someone may want to edit this article to mention the difficulty of this game. Although it's not as difficult as Super Ghosts and Ghouls, it is still very hard (SNES version, at least.) 3bman92 (talk) 00:59, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
